Your dedicated local planner designs the route and organises the accommodation, transport, guides and experiences agreed for your trip. Whether you choose self-drive, a private driver or a driver-guide, everything is planned together. Your final itinerary clearly lists the included meals, activities and services, along with anything paid separately.

Most tailor-made trips fall between €55 and €450 per person per day, excluding flights. Your dates, group size, room arrangements, route, hotels and guiding options determine the price. Simpler stays and independent travel sit towards the lower end, while more extensive guiding and higher-category hotels cost more. Planning is free, and you receive the full price before paying.

Yes. You don’t need a finished plan. Tell us your travel dates or approximate window, who is coming, your budget and what you enjoy. Your local planner will suggest a route, suitable places to stay and experiences that fit your interests. You can start through the planner on this page or email [email protected].

The timing depends on the trip’s complexity, the information you share and how much flexibility you give your planner to make suggestions. For last-minute travel, we may be able to send an initial proposal as soon as the next day. We then refine the itinerary together and confirm the details before you book.

Self-drive: You drive a new, comfortable, fully insured vehicle, with no car-rental deposit or insurance excess. We organise the accommodation, activities and local guides or instructors agreed for your itinerary. You meet them at the planned stops along the route.

Private driver: Your driver handles the driving, with all driving and transport expenses included for the agreed itinerary. Local guides and instructors meet you for your booked visits and experiences.

Driver-guide: You receive the same transport arrangements, accompanied throughout the planned route by an experienced, vetted local guide who also drives and speaks the language agreed for your trip.

Yes. We combine Albania with Montenegro, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Croatia and Greece. Your planner organises the route, driving times, border crossings and transport so the trip works comfortably. The right combination depends on your dates, trip length, interests and preferred pace.

As soon as you know your likely travel dates. Starting early gives us more choice of hotels, guides and experiences, especially during summer or for trips across several countries. Last-minute requests are welcome too. We’ll check what is available and practical before confirming your arrangements.

Yes. We welcome travellers from around the world and can help you plan in English, Spanish, French, German or Italian. We arrange the itinerary around your arrival and departure, answer practical questions and communicate by email or a call at a convenient time. Your local planner explains the arrangements clearly before you book.

A tailor-made trip is private and designed for your own party. If you would rather travel on set dates with other travellers, you can choose one of our small-group tours. Travel Matching is optional, requires your approval and is never guaranteed.

Yes. Families often look for manageable drives, suitable rooms and activities children and adults can enjoy together. Couples may prefer boutique stays, scenic places and more privacy. Solo travellers may want independence and opportunities to connect with local people. Friends and younger travellers may enjoy adventure, beaches and nightlife, while seniors often choose culture, history, gastronomy and a comfortable pace. Your own preferences guide the final plan, and we adapt the trip around what matters to you.

Once we agree on the itinerary and price, a 30% deposit confirms your booking. Your written confirmation explains the payment schedule. Small changes may be possible, depending on availability and the arrangements already booked.

For cancellations of multi-day trips, the 30% deposit is non-refundable. Refunds of the balance already paid are 100% when cancelling 30 days or more before departure, 70% at 15 to 29 days, 50% at 1 to 14 days, and none on the departure day or for a no-show.

For a valid reason, you may request to reschedule your multi-day tour at least one month before departure. Rescheduling is free of charge, subject to availability and approval by InAlb. Please see our full booking and cancellation terms.
