How big are the groups? +
All our group tours have a maximum of 20 travellers. Some are limited to 16, and hiking tours have a maximum of 12. You’ll find the group size for your chosen trip on its tour page.
Can I join a group tour on my own? +
Of course. Solo travellers are welcome, and you’ll have a group to explore with from the start. Our 11-day Albania Solo Travellers tour is especially suited to people travelling on their own, but you can also choose another tour that matches your interests and preferred pace.
Can couples, friends and families join? +
Yes. Many of our travellers join as couples or with friends. Even our Solo Travellers tour has welcomed friends and couples who enjoy its relaxed, sociable atmosphere. If you’re planning to travel with children, contact us first so we can help you choose a suitable tour.
Are there age limits, and are the tours suitable for older travellers? +
Age guidance varies by tour, along with the walking, terrain and daily pace. Some trips are designed for a particular age range. Whether you’re travelling with children or looking for a comfortable pace as an older traveller, check the tour details and ask us if you’re unsure which option suits you.
Which tours are best for hiking and nature? +
Our 13-day Out of This World tour is a strong choice for mountain scenery and hiking in Albania. The upcoming 9-day hiking tour in southern Albania explores the Riviera and southern landscapes on foot. Check the daily hikes, distances and difficulty before choosing, as both include more demanding walking than a sightseeing tour.

How long are your group tours? +
Our current tours run for 8, 9, 11, 13 or 15 days. Upcoming options include 5-day and 10-day Albania tours, a 9-day hiking tour in southern Albania, and 10-day and 11-day routes through the Balkans. Each tour page shows the full duration, number of nights and itinerary.
Which countries can I visit? +
Our current routes visit Albania, Croatia, Montenegro, Greece and North Macedonia. Upcoming Balkan itineraries also include Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Romania and Serbia. You can choose a tour focused on Albania or explore several countries on one trip. Each itinerary shows exactly which countries and places you’ll visit.
Where do the tours start and finish? +
Most of our Albania tours start and finish in Tirana. Some multi-country routes begin in Dubrovnik and finish in Corfu or Athens. The upcoming Sofia to Dubrovnik tour starts in Bulgaria and finishes in Croatia. Check your tour’s arrival, departure and transfer details before booking flights.
Where can I find departure dates, and are departures guaranteed? +
You’ll find departure dates and booking details on each tour page. Some departures require a minimum number of travellers, while others are available on request. Check whether your chosen date is confirmed before making other travel arrangements, or contact us and we’ll help you check.
Will I share a room, or can I book a single room? +
Prices are based on sharing a twin room. If you book as a couple, family or group of friends, we’ll arrange rooms for your own party. If you’d prefer a room to yourself, select the single-room add-on on your tour page.
What language are the tours guided in? +
Our group tours are guided in English. We also have selected departures in Spanish, French and German for 2027 and 2028. Contact us to confirm the available tours and dates in your preferred language before booking.
What is included in the price? +
Each tour page has a detailed list of what’s included, such as accommodation, transport, guiding, meals and activities. Inclusions vary between trips, so check your chosen tour’s list for airport transfers, entrance fees and anything you’ll need to pay for separately.
How do I book, and when do I pay? +
Book directly on your chosen tour page and pay the 30% deposit. The ticket you receive includes details of how to pay the remaining balance, which is due 30 days before departure. If you need help choosing a date or completing your booking, contact us and we’ll help.
What happens if I cancel or need to change my dates? +
Any refund depends on how far in advance you cancel. The 30% deposit is non-refundable, and refunds of the remaining balance follow our cancellation policy. For a valid reason, you can request a free date change at least one month before departure, subject to availability and approval by InAlb. Can you arrange a private tour for our group? +
Of course. Tell us your preferred dates, group size and what you’d like to see and do. We can help you arrange a private departure or a tailor-made itinerary for your group.
