Starting prices are per person for the travel option shown. Each tour page explains the season, room-sharing and group-size basis. Your total depends on your dates, travellers, rooms and selected extras. Where a self-drive price is shown, a full-time driver or driver-guide costs extra unless stated otherwise.
What is included in a private tour? +
Each tour page lists its accommodation, transport, guides, meals, activities and entrance tickets, along with anything paid separately. If we customise your trip, your agreed itinerary will clearly explain the updated services and price.
What is the difference between self-drive, a private driver and a driver-guide? +
Self-drive: You drive, and local guides or instructors meet you for the visits and activities agreed in your itinerary.

Private driver: Your driver handles the driving, with driving and transport expenses included for the agreed route. Local guides and instructors meet you for your booked visits and experiences.

Driver-guide: An experienced, vetted local guide also drives and accompanies you throughout the planned route, in your agreed language.

Semi-guided tours combine independent travel with local guides for the visits and activities listed in your itinerary. Transport arrangements vary by tour.
Can I change the route, hotels, vehicle or activities? +
Yes. Book a listed itinerary as it is or ask us to adapt it. You can request different stops, extra rest days, hotel upgrades, additional experiences or changes to the transport and guiding. You can also ask to use your own car. We’ll confirm what is possible and the revised price before you book.
What languages are available for guides? +
Guides can be arranged in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Albanian, subject to availability. Tell us your preferred language before booking so we can confirm it for the visits or days you need. You can also ask about other languages.

How do I book a private tour? +
Open your preferred tour and review its itinerary, inclusions and booking options. Where online booking is available, choose your dates, travellers, rooms and extras. For a request-only tour or a customised trip, contact our team. A 30% deposit confirms your multi-day booking, with the balance due 30 days before departure. For last-minute bookings, we’ll confirm the payment schedule with you.
What support will I have during the trip? +
Our local team is available 24/7 during your trip for practical questions, help with arrangements and unexpected changes, including on self-drive tours. If you want to adjust something while travelling, we’ll explain what can be arranged and whether it affects the price.
What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule? +
For multi-day tours, the 30% booking deposit is non-refundable. Refunds apply to the balance already paid: 100% when cancelling at least 30 days before departure, 70% at 15 to 29 days, 50% at 1 to 14 days, and none on the departure day or for a no-show.

For a valid reason, you may request to reschedule at least one month before departure. Rescheduling is free of charge, subject to availability and approval by InAlb. Please read the full booking and cancellation terms before booking.
Can I combine Albania, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Kosovo in a 10- to 14-day private tour? +

Driving times and border crossings affect the plan, so we’ll advise whether all four countries fit comfortably or whether fewer stops would give you more time in each place.

Can you arrange a relaxed private tour for older travellers? +
Yes. We can adapt the itinerary with shorter driving days, fewer hotel changes and time to enjoy culture, history, food and local experiences. Tell us how much walking you prefer and any access requirements. We’ll help you choose suitable stops, accommodation and transport, and check the arrangements before you book.
Can I book a 10-day private tour in June or plan a two-week trip? +
Private tours can be planned around your preferred dates, subject to availability. Share your dates and how long you would like to travel.
