Enjoy an easygoing river adventure through the dramatic landscapes of Osum Canyon, one of Albania’s most impressive natural areas.
You’ll meet your guides in Çorovodë or Berat, or you can request a pickup from Berat for extra comfort. The exact meeting details will be shared in advance. From there, a scenic drive takes you to the canyon’s starting point (around 25 minutes from Çorovodë or up to 1.5 hours from Berat).
After a short briefing and equipment check, you’ll spend about two hours tubing down the Osum River, floating gently through narrow canyon walls, smooth rock formations and calm sections of water. Certified local guides stay with the group at all times, helping when needed and making sure everything runs smoothly.
There are short stops along the way to relax, take photos, and enjoy the scenery. Guides are happy to take pictures for you, and you can bring your phone along if it’s safely protected — because the canyon is beautiful, but it’s still a river.
At the end of the route, a short 10–15 minute walk leads to a rest area where water and a light sandwich are provided. After changing clothes, you’ll head back feeling refreshed and slightly proud of having “conquered” the canyon without breaking a sweat.
Practical info:
Your guide will contact you in advance with final meeting or pickup details. Light walking is involved at the end. No previous experience needed just comfortable clothes (swimwear) and a relaxed attitude.
