Blue Eye Kayak Experience from Saranda

You’ll meet your guide in the center of Saranda or you can request a pickup in advance when the guide contacts you the day before. From there, you’ll enjoy a short drive through the green countryside of southern Albania before reaching the Blue Eye.

Once there, your local guide will set up the kayaks, explain the basics and make sure everyone feels comfortable before getting on the water. No previous kayaking experience is needed, the pace is relaxed and the water is calm. You’ll gently paddle across the striking turquoise spring, surrounded by nature and a peaceful atmosphere.

You’ll have time to swim, snorkel or simply relax by the water while your guide shares local stories and legends about this unique natural site. The hardest part of the tour is deciding whether to jump into the cold water again or just admire the color for a few more minutes.

After the experience, you’ll head back to Saranda, returning around 13:00, with great photos and a refreshing memory from one of southern Albania’s most iconic places.
