The day begins early in Shkodra, as you leave the city behind and head toward the mountains of northern Albania, passing quiet villages and scenic countryside along the way. After arriving at Koman Lake, you’ll board a modern and comfortable speedboat and start one of the most spectacular boat journeys in the country, often compared to fjords for its steep limestone cliffs and deep emerald water.

The speedboat ride takes you across the lake and into a landscape of untouched nature, where narrow passages, dramatic rock walls, and calm water create views that feel far removed from everyday life. After cruising through the heart of the lake, you’ll reach the remote and beautiful Shala River, known for its crystal-clear turquoise water and peaceful setting.

Once there, the time is yours to enjoy the river at your own pace.
